2011 Ten Awards Judges – To Be Announced!
Judging Criteria
The Ten Awards Judge Committee will review, in full, all nominations received and give a fair and unbiased assessment of each applicant based on the following criteria:
- Nominees’ direct innovative contribution to their industry
- Nominees’ direct innovative contribution beyond their industry (for example, how do peers in other industries view the nominee?)
- The nominees’ leadership qualities in the category he/she is being nominated (for example, why the nominee is an extraordinary CEO, CFO, CIO, etc.).
All nominations must be submitted by September 28, 2010 to be considered for review.

Who is eligible?
Any person involved in the U.S. business community who has had a significant impact on business innovation and leadership is eligible. This includes executives from financial services, information technology, media, publishing, telecom, retail and other companies who are responsible for leading their business or a business unit. Executives are eligible to be named to the Ten Awards only once every three years. Eligibility is not confined to the geographical boundaries of the U.S..
How is one nominated?
The
nomination form, describing the nominee’s direct contribution to their industry and beyond, should be completed in full and submitted to the Executive Council. Factors to be considered by the judges include: Nominee’s impact on innovation; Nominee’s impact on industry and globally; and Nominee’s leadership and standing within peer group and outside of peer group.
Is there a nomination fee?
There is no nomination fee.
Where do I send the nominations?
Nominations can be filled out
online and sent instantly to the Executive Council. If you prefer, nominations can also be downloaded and submitted to the Executive Council via email, fax or snail mail.

What is the deadline for submissions?
Nominations for the upcoming New York Ten Awards must be postmarked or emailed by 11:59 p.m. on October 8, 2010, Late nominations will be considered for the following year.
When will the winners be chosen?
The winners will be chosen during a series of meetings by the Judges in March, 2010.
When will the winners be made public?
Winners will be formally announced on the evening of April 4, 2011 at 583 Park Avenue.

The awards are etched lead-crystal from Tiffany’s in New York
